Pelicans, terrorists and South Bank
What the... Not much of a connection, you say? Well, you're right! :p
There isn't much of a connection here, except that the videos and photos were all shot/made within the same few weeks!
Terrorism
Last semester I took a TV journalism course as part of my journalism degree. Of course, we had to produce a couple of TV news stories as part of the assessment for that course. One of those was a story on terrorist fears in Australia that I did together with Mark Wong. Here it is! I did the filming of the city and the interviews. Mark filmed the interviews and did the voice over.

If nothing else, at least you get a little glimpse of Brisbane city centre here! :o)
South Bank
Inspired by all the TV journalism, I went to South Bank and shot a bit of video there! I put it all together and added some music!

Pelicans
A while ago, Maria and I took the City Cat to Bretts Wharf for no apparent reason except to get out of the Brisbane CBD (Central Business District). Out there, we saw lots of pelicans - which I didn't even know existed here! I've actually never even seen pelicans before! :p They're huge creatures! Check out the photos on the right.
PS: Masters degree
Just to have mentioned it... A couple of days ago, I handed in my application for a Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting)! If all goes to plan, I'll be starting on my second degree in March 2005. The upcoming semester is the last of my journalism bachelor, and I feel I need another degree before I hit the employment market, so here we go... :p
That's all from Brisbane for now... Will be back in not too long! Hi to everyone home in Norway! :D
