Port Douglas
Hey all! Just thought I'd drop an entry on my webpage... Sitting on internet cafe in Port Douglas in tropical north Queensland!
We've been driving here from Brisbane... It's a 2000km drive, and it's as far north as we'll go on our little road trip.
So far we've stopped over in Airlie Beach, Townsville and Cairns... It's all been very nice, except for our stay in Cairns! The backpackers we stayed at there was more like a construction site, so we woke up to the sound of jackhammers and power drills 7am every morning! :s
The winters here north are so much nicer than in Brisbane! We have around 25-30 degrees C in the daytime, and fairly warm evenings!
Well... Gotta go now... Internet is expensive as crap here! Write more when I'm back!
