Cars everywhere

Brisbane's annual international motorshow was on a couple of weeks ago... All the major car manufacturers were there, showing off their latest vehicles - except, oddly, Volvo.

The show has its roots back to 1962, when the first exhibition was put on. At that time it was called the Queensland Motorshow. About 50.000 people visited the show to see the 100 vehicles on stand. The show has, of course, grown since its beginning. This year's show took up about 20.000 square meters - all of Brisbane's Convention Centre.

Maria and I went to the show together with her parents. It seems Maria is the car buff out of us two. But I came along for the photo-op and to get to spend some time with her. It was all good fun!

I seriously don't have much to say about cars though... So I'll just let the photos speak on my behalf! :o)
